Butlers Reef is located 10 mins south of New Plymouth on Surf Hwy 45.
We have a relaxed bar with front deck to watch the world go by, 3 big screen tv’s to watch your favourite sport and 2 pool tables.
On tap we serve Export Gold, Tui, DB Draught, Mangatainoka Dark, Export 33, Monteiths Radler and Export Extra Cold.  We have a wide range of spirits and and great wine list with a “Wine of the Month”.

We also have a restaurant with adjoining deck and the food is fabulous from bar snacks to salads, steak to pasta, seafood to burgers.  Our ingredients are sourced locally where possible and check out the blackboard for daily lunch and dinner specials.
Being a "family friendly" cafe/bar, we have a kids menu with crayons, games and a basket of toys for the little ones. 

We make excellent coffee accompanied by a chocolate fish.  Your choice of Flat White, Cappaccino, Long or Short Black, Mochaccino, Hot Chocolate, Iced Chocolate, Iced Coffee, Vienna or Liquer Coffees.  Our coffee beans are from ARROSTA.  We also have a selection of teas (made with tea leaves!). 

Butlers Bottleshop is located right next door with a great selection of your favourite beers, wines and spirits, RTD's, Liquers, Ports, Sherries, Ciders, Soft Drinks, Confectionary, Cigarettes and Cigars.  With a walk-in chiller you can find the coldest beers in town. We have a great range of wines from award winning vineyards at competitive prices. Loyalty Wine Card available.
Because it is an independent liquor store we have the means to be able to order in your favourites, so if you can't find it in store we will do our best to source the product for you!

Out the back is a permanent marquee and garden area with its own bar facilities available for private functions.  There is also a children’s playground area with plenty of room for them to run around.
